Sustained Dialogue Moderator Training

9:00 am—5:00 pm each day

For undergraduate and graduate/professional students** to understand and practice the art, concepts, and tools of dialogue as a method to develop and strengthen productive campus relationships and decide on action.

Sustained Dialogue Moderator Training teaches the skills of an effective leader.  This training covers convening, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills and tools to moderate dialogues about difficult and divisive issues important to the campus community. 

 Topics include:

* Honoring Multiple Perspectives
* Inquiry
* Empathy
* Influence
* Mindful Listening
* Trust and Communication
* Convening
* Group Decision-Making

This two-day workshop is offered at no cost to you. However, all participants are asked to commit to the full workshop and potentially to serve as moderators on difficult and divisive campus issues in the future. 

Candidates who are selected to attend will receive an email by Friday, October 14, 2016 with confirmation and registration details.
