Leadership and Capacity-Building Through Legal Alignment

Our workshops are designed to strengthen organizational culture and leadership capacity while aligning with federal and state requirements for workplace and learning environments. Each session is compliant with and informed by UC Davis’s responsibilities under: California Proposition 209, California Senate Bill 1287 (SB 1287), California Assembly Bill 2925 (AB 2925), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. By addressing bias, bigotry, and harassment, facilitators help staff, faculty, and departments not only meet these obligations but also model effective leadership practices. In doing so, these sessions bring the UC Davis Principles of Community to life—connecting compliance with our shared commitment to dignity, respect, and integrity.
