That’s why our Organizational Culture and Inclusive Practice series goes beyond compliance, offering research-backed, conversation-driven workshops that help individuals and teams transform how they work, lead and connect. This new series of facilitated programs and self-paced learning modules will help educate and empower our community to incorporate organizational values into their daily work and learning.

Foundations of Inclusive Practice

A Learning and Development Series launching January 2026, this growing collection of learning modules introduces the foundations of inclusive practice at UC Davis. Beginning with Understanding AB 2925, the series includes topics such as religious diversity, disability awareness, bias and bias in hiring, and addressing conflict and abrasive behaviors. These offerings form the basis of a certificate series in inclusive leadership.

Stories That Bring Our Values to Life

The Principles of Community in Action Video Series (coming soon) is a six-part video series exploring the key themes of the UC Davis Principles of Community. Each segment features real stories and practical examples that bring our shared commitments to life—freedom of expression, inclusion, accessibility, anti-bias, religious diversity, and civil exchange.

Leadership and Capacity-Building Through Legal Alignment

Our workshops are designed to strengthen organizational culture and leadership capacity while aligning with federal and state requirements for workplace and learning environments. Each session is compliant with and informed by UC Davis’s responsibilities under: California Proposition 209, California Senate Bill 1287 (SB 1287), California Assembly Bill 2925 (AB 2925), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. By addressing bias, bigotry, and harassment, facilitators help staff, faculty, and departments not only meet these obligations but also model effective leadership practices. In doing so, these sessions bring the UC Davis Principles of Community to life—connecting compliance with our shared commitment to dignity, respect, and integrity.
