Administrative Advisory Committees

Appointed as part of the Provost's commitment to leadership accountability, Administrative Advisory Committees (AACs) at UC Davis provide a platform for faculty and staff to contribute to the university’s governance. These committees offer insights and recommendations on key areas such as student services, equity, accessibility, research, and campus infrastructure. Open to all employees, these committees ensure diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making processes.

Role of the Inclusive Excellence Executive Leadership Team

The foundational purpose behind establishing the Executive Leadership Team is to ensure the coordination of relevant activities across the UC Davis and UCD Health campuses and to have a unified advisory body made up of key leaders who oversee academic, staff, and student constituents. Recommendations from the Administrative Advisory Committees are often addressed by this team, which meets between 6-9 times per year. In addition, the team provides advice on:

  • Establishing professional standards and expectations.
  • Sharing and sustaining campus values and goals.
  • Relevant programs, projects, initiatives, or topics in need of senior leadership support or endorsement.
  • Legal, political, and economic issues that affect our campus.
  • Reinforcing success and sharing of best practices.
