  Join UC administrators, educators, and leaders for an afternoon of connection, learning, and professional growth. All are welcome. The event opens with a campus welcome from Chancellor Gary May and Vice Chancellor Renetta Tull, followed by two simultaneous sessions designed for faculty and staff.

Session 1 (Faculty): Faculty Advancement Roundtable Discussion featuring Dr. Jacquelyn Ollison, Ed.D. (UC Berkeley) and Professor Piri Ackerman R.N., F.A.D.L.N., A.N.E.F., F.A.A.N. (UC Davis)

This session will explore strategies for fostering robust networks that empower and support existing faculty, nurture mentorship opportunities for new faculty members and strengthen the pipeline for future talent. Designed as a shared space for building a collaborative systemwide network.

Session 2 (Staff): Building Your “Career Entourage” featuring Gayle Guest Brown, PCC, MBA (UC Davis)

An interactive session focused on cultivating mentors, coaches, and sponsors to support professional growth. Participants will learn how each role contributes at different career stages and how to engage these relationships with confidence and intention. Designed as shared space to support the unique needs of faculty across the system.
